howdy, readers. today’s the march 30th post for 2025. are you excited?
so, if you havent noticed, this blog is looking very different! i used a static site generator called zoner. i love zoner and i am going to be looking into more static website generators for more advanced purposes
i kind of hate working in html like it feels like you’re not supposed to work inside of html …
working on things is tough! music feels wrong lately since my ears have been functioning a bit less well lately, going to doctors has been helping but they cant seem to fix it totally all at once, it’s been over a month now surely of suboptimal hearing. deeply upsetting, to be rendered imperfect as such.
i have an album coming out tho!! dunno if im just gonna mix / master it with like the 1 good ear but like … we’ll see!! we’ll see!! it’s a step directly forward from Our Sanguine Record in that its Hip Hop Halloween theming is practically identical, but the twist is that the execution is a lot more cohesive and the music is a bit more personal from the heart (and a lot more recent!)
mc4d is weighing on me. im not sure how exactly i intend to publish it, going forward, but maybe i’ll do something like this here blog. i’ll almost undoubtedly use some kind of static site generator. there’s a possibility i’ll outsource the work.

UPDATE 2025-07-23: If you are reading this, that means I have successfully made the switch to Hugo. Previously, using the most simple of static site generators, I was unhappy with my blog’s inability to correctly output an RSS feed. Today, while I have not shipped hugo yet, I am quite looking forward to it. Potentially even selfhosting!
