HOW WOULD YOU DESCRiBE YOUR CREATiVE SENSiBiLiTiES?

i think my sensibilities are usually specific and very in-my-head and i take on very different approaches to different ideas.

with music tend to like when something sounds kinda dark but a little whimsy or vice versa.

as far as creating, sometimes when im driving or taking a shower, esp if im listining to another song that sounds like they could have put some cool breaks over it, ill click a percussion pattern along in my teeth or beat box it and sometimes record it and then try to put it to a track. that stuff is very hard.

my sensibilitues are not adversely affected by my skill i think but my output is. props to everyone who can materialize a production idea cause thats the goal.

WHAT'S THE PROJECT YOU'VE WORKED ON THAT YOU'RE MOST PROUD OF?

i made this song i called earthly dials like 4 years ago.

before that i had made beats which i think were getting better and better little by little.

those were mostly influenced by other soundcloud producers and trap and such, but before this track i took a sound art class.

this prof was very about reaper and disliked the concept of music somehow lol, like scoffed at it.

he gave me the idea that sounds have a life of their own and like any sound could make a good sound piece if you give it the right conditions (conditions being other sounds, filtering, modifying but not too much, or physical and visual presentation).

so i had been working on digging into the quality of a sound wave for a semester and made this song where theres 1 "instrument" crawling scales that i made up/found by feel as i went along.

im the most proud of it but now barely upload cause i want to do something better than that

my best amv is probably to ecco2k's blue eyes. i think amv and alternate music vids are relly sick and fun but feel more crafty than creative cause of the reuse aspect. kind of like mixes too

WHAT'S YOUR PERSPECTiVE ON THE ARTiSTS AND COMMUNiTY AT THE COOPER UNiON?

i spend not a lot of time thinking about cooper these days. i have alot of friendships that kinda fell by the wayside which i feel bad about.

i am glad to say i have a few pals that i keeep in touch with that are all also quite talented

the artists come in a lot of shapes and sizes and definitely are responsible for a lot of my perspective on the art world and the city as a whole.

its funny how narrow my idea of art or 'what one might do in art school' was before cooper.

i studied engineering so i was looking in from the outside til i became one of them. i think the free cooper movement was the most impactful thing that can bee seen from the outside.

otherwise its hard to know whats going on besides by going to a show.

WHAT ARE THE PLANS FOR ANTON?

i am working on a couple mixes and have made somewhat of a resolution to get better at producing now. i have loads of ideas waiting for me to get better to be realized so hopefully somethin good
